The following disclosures have been made in accordance with Article 8 of the Personal Information Protection Act for the protection of applicant’s personal information, privacy and interests: 1. Purpose and method of gathering information The Company gathers information for purposes including customer management, marketing, and internal surveys and analyses (reference No. 037, 066, 022, and 060). Information will be gathered as the applicant provides personal information, ordering, and shipping details while registering membership or making online purchases. 2. Types of personal information gathered The types of personal information gathered through this website shall include 1. C001 Personal Identity: e.g. name, address, phone number and email address. 2. C002 Financial Information: e.g. credit card or account details. 3. C003 Government-issued Identity: e.g. ID card number or passport number (for foreigners). 4. C009 Personal Description: e.g. nationality and date of birth. 3. Duration, location, subject, and method in which personal information is used: (1) Duration: for the entirety of the Company's operations. (2) Location: including but not limited to Taiwan. (3) Subject and method: applicant's (and contact person's) personal information will be used by the Company for shopping and customer management (indexed search), and by the following parties for the purposes listed: A. Product purchase: whenever the applicant places an order, the applicant’s (or registered member's/contact person’s) personal information will be sent to Taiwan Tea Co., Ltd. and branches along with order details. B. Goods delivery: the member’s (and contact person’s) personal information will be made known to logistics and mailing partners for the delivery of purchased goods and invoices. C. Financial transaction and authorization: member’s financial information will be exchanged with financial institutions during transaction activities (e.g. credit card authorization, fund transfer). D. Notification and marketing: the Company will share member’s contact information such as address, email, phone number etc with branches for notification and marketing purposes. 4. Other rules 1. Members must comply with all laws of the Republic of China; 2. Members must not post comments that are pornographic, illegal, or potentially harmful to national security; 3. Linkage to messages with political, pornographic, superstitious and illegal contents is strictly prohibited; 4. Member shall assume all civil and criminal liabilities that arise directly or indirectly from own behaviors; 5. Member shall respect other users and maintain ethical conduct over the Internet. Slander and use of vicious remark is strictly prohibited; 6. Forum and system administrators shall have the right to maintain or delete any contents posted; 7. The system administrator shall have the authority over any affairs concerning the online forum. 5. The system will save certain information onto your computer in the form of cookies (does not include password or personal information).
